Raelynn was born on June 23, in Greensboro, NC, and grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and Auburn, WA. With artistic talent running in her family, it was not surprising when she showed substantial promise as a very young child.

Raelynn supplemented her natural talent with art classes at different colleges in the Seattle area. After moving to Oklahoma in 2003, she took Faux Finishing & Old World Textures at Artistic Illusions Studio in Nashville, TN. With that knowledge, she then started her own faux & mural business.
